After growing up in Michigan and spending five years braving the cold winters in Chicago, Shannon ventured south to pursue her PhD in Accounting at UT and finally experience some warm weather! She had tried Lagree in the past, but after just one month of classes at Pure Pilates Austin she was hooked on both the method and the amazing community the studio provides. Her favorite muscle group to work is obliques, but her goal is to always provide a challenging full body workout that will leave you feeling sweaty and strong!

When Shannon isn't in the studio, you can find her exploring all of Austin's amazing gluten-free food options (ask her for any tips), and playing with her two French Bulldogs, Hank and Louie.
