We are so excited to announce that we will be re-opening the doors to our studios on May 18, 2020.
Safety for our team and our clients in-studio has been and will remain our top priority as we move forward. We have spent countless hours developing our new standards for operating, going above government recommendations, in order to provide you with the best at home and in-studio experience possible. This is just the start. Our team will be listening to you, fine tuning our processes and evaluating ways to keep our community safe, while sweating together. OUR COMMITMENT TO SAFETY

We have enhanced all cleaning procedures to include hospital grade cleaning products, additional professional cleanings and masks worn in the studios at all times. Not to mention that each client has their own Mega (sizing in at 11.5 ft long and over 3 ft wide) that is spaced over 6ft from everyone and no shared equipment in class.
This is just the start. Our team will be listening to you, fine tuning our processes and evaluating ways to keep our community safe, while sweating together.
IMPORTANT TO DO - NEW WAIVER STARTING MAY 2020!
All clients, including those that have filled out waiver prior to May 1, 2020, must complete a new waiver prior to attending class (virtual or in-studio) or a private training session. The waiver can be accessed here.
UNFREEZING MY ACCOUNT, PACKAGE EXPIRATION EXTENSIONS & AUTO PAY INFO FOR THE REOPEN!
MONTHLY UNLIMITED, 4x, 8x and CONTRACTS
All accounts were frozen as of March 18, 2020 whether you requested a freeze or not. When you are ready to return to in-studio classes email firstname.lastname@example.org and we will activate your account, extend your expiration accordingly and if you are on an auto-pay contract, adjust your payments too!
Class packs with expiration dates through July 2020 have been extended by three months already. If you do need additional time, just email us to let us know and we are happy to add additional days so you can sweat with us.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN VIRTUAL, PRIVATE TRAINING AND LIMITED CAPACITY IN-STUDIO CLASSES?
We have added options to keep you sweating with us based on your personal preference and financial situation.
WHAT DO I NEED FOR THE VIRTUAL LIVE STREAM CLASSES?
No special equipment is needed for our Mega inspired in home workouts. We recommend a mat, hand towel, gliders (can substitute paper plates, socks or towels depending on your surface at home), hand weights (cans of soup, wine bottles, tote bags filled with canned goods, books, water bottles, etc.) and sometimes access to a chair or small step stool. If there are any other props we will let you know right at the start of class and give you a few minutes to grab what you need. We will always show you how to modify as well in case you don't have the props.
Booty or resistance bands are always welcome as an addition, but not required!
HOW TO BUY & REGISTER FOR VIRTUAL CLASSES
Purchase virtual live stream classes just like you would any other class when logged into our Mindbody site. To get to our site, just click the 'Sign-up' now button on the top right corner of the website. If you have a promo code, you will enter it when you go to checkout.
All virtual classes are listed on the South Lamar studio location page.
All virtual live stream classes are broadcast via Zoom and have unique links for you for each individual class. You will receive an email approximately one hour prior to the start of class from Fitgrid x Pure Pilates Austin. This will contain the link to your class that you will use. If you are registered through Class Pass, Class Pass will email you directly approximately 20 minutes before the start of class with your link! Note that there is NOT a password for the class, but the link is unique for each class and person and cannot be reused.
Please have Zoom meetings downloaded to your PC, tablet or phone for optimal viewing. If you do not have the extension downloaded you may receive a prompt for a password or an error message.
HOW DO I SIGN-UP for PRIVATE TRAINING & IN-STUDIO CLASSES?
Click here to view class times and schedule your sculpt session. If it is your first time to our studio, you must register with Mindbody Online and create a user account separate for just Pure Pilates Austin (we know many of you already have many Mindbody accounts). Once you register you are then ready to purchase sessions and register for classes and private training sessions.
Be sure to toggle to each individual studio location to check out the schedule.
WHAT DOES IT MEAN IF I AM ON THE 'WAIT LIST'?
If you are on the wait list, getting into the class is dependent upon someone else currently signed up dropping the class or failing to show up. If you are #1 or #2 on the waitlist, be sure to monitor your email 2 hours prior to class for an update on slots opening up due to late cancellations. If it is almost class time and you are still on the waitlist, feel free to swing by just before class and cross your fingers!
With the wait list, we typically email you as soon as you are off the wait list. If you are opted out of all email notifications we cannot legally do that for you. If you are not opted into emails and you list yourself on a waitlist it is your responsibility to monitor your class schedule either through your online account or our Pure Pilates ATX app. Once you are in a class and off the wait list it shows the class in "My Classes" rather than "My Waitlists" - the app is much easier to use.
If you are on the wait list we assume that you still want the spot if it is over an hour before the start of class. If you are no longer interested in the spot if one opens up, please remove yourself from the waitlist via the online system or the app so that you are not added to the class.
Note - that when you receive the email notification it will say 'From wait list Unconfirmed.' This means that you have a spot in the class. Do not worry about the unconfirmed aspect or confirming with the studio as we plan on seeing you later.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I AM RUNNING LATE TO CLASS or NEED TO REBOOK?
Due to high demand and increased safety concerns for our team and clients, we no longer can allow you to join class after it starts - be sure to be on time and come into the studio just a few minutes before class starts.
New clients must arrive a minimum of 10 minutes before class start time or they will not be admitted into class - no exceptions.
If you arrive late, no refunds or class returns to your account will be issued so please know where you are going so we can sculpt with you!
Rebooking: Note that if your plans change, there is a $15 fee to rebook you to a LATER class. You must email email@example.com to request a move to a new class time. We are happy to accommodate moves to earlier class times if spots are available.
WHAT IS THE LATE CANCEL POLICY?
We understand that plans change and life gets in the way sometimes, but in order to be fair to all of our clients we ask you to follow our late cancellation/no show policy. By registering for class, you are agreeing to the terms of our late cancel and no show policy.
- All classes must be cancelled 12 hours prior to the start of class or you will be assess a late cancellation charge ($15 charge or loss of class).
- If you cancel within 1 hour of the class start time, you will be assess a no-show fee ($20 charge or loss of class).
- If you are on an "unlimited" package, associated fees will be charged. If you are not on an unlimited packages, any late cancellations and/or no shows will result in a forfeiture of your class.
*PRIVATE TRAINING - cancellation of private training sessions within 12 hours of start time will result in a $40 fee and your session will be returned to you for future use.
Late Cancel and No Show fees are processed each Tuesday for the previous seven days.

WHY DOES THE SYSTEM ASK FOR MY CREDIT CARD INFORMATION WHEN I'M PURCHASING A CLASS?
Due to the intimate size of our studio and high demand for classes, we require a credit card to reserve your space so that we are able to charge for Late Cancellations and No Shows. See ‘What is the Late Cancel Policy?’
I SEE A CHARGE ON MY ACCOUNT, BUT I WAS IN CLASS. WHAT DOES IT MEAN?
All Late Cancel and No Show Fees are charged each Tuesday for the previous seven days. If you see a charge on a Tuesday, it does not necessarily mean that it was for that day.
Please sign-in to your account online and check your class history to see if you late cancelled the class or were marked as a no show. Once you check your account history and you notice an error, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
WHEN DOES MY PACKAGE EXPIRE?
All Pure Pilates Austin packages have expiration dates. The expiration dates can be found below, in addition to online in the Mindbody store and on the app when making a purchase.
NEW CLIENT PACKAGES
- New Client/Student 2 for $30/$25 - 30 days from purchase
- New Client/Student Month Unlimited - 30 days from 1st use
- Single Session - 30 days from purchase
- 5 Class Pack - 3 months from purchase
- 10 Class Pack - 6 months from purchase
- 20 Class Pack - 12 months from purchase
- 30 days from first use
WHAT HAPPENS IF I BUY A MONTHLY PACKAGE, BUT WILL BE OUT OF TOWN?
If you will be out of town for over one week you are eligible to ‘freeze’ your monthly class package for the period of time that you are away. This means that your 30 days to use your monthly classes will not continue to be used while you are away and will start again when you return. Each freeze incurs a $15 fee. Freezes can only be done for a minimum of 5 days and a maximum of one month. A package can only be frozen one time (one time for each paid month for contracts or packages longer than a 1 month period). Just email us with the date that you would like your membership frozen and when you will return.
WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?
Our West Campus location is at the corner of 22nd 1⁄2 and Pearl Streets – just west of the UT Austin campus. Note that the actual studio location is NOT at our street address on Rio Grande. Click here for a detailed map of the West Campus location.

CAN I USE MY PACKAGE AT ALL LOCATIONS?
Yes! You can use your package at any of our three locations - West Campus, The Domain or the South Lamar studios. Just sign-up online, via our app (Pure Pilates ATX) or the Mindbody Connect app. Be sure to check which location you register for as we cannot waive no-show fees for arriving at the wrong location!
WHERE SHOULD I PARK?
At the West Campus location - free parking is available in The Quarters On Campus parking garage just around the corner from the studio. You can enter on either Rio Grande between 22nd 1/2 and 23rd Streets or on 22nd 1⁄2 between Pearl and Rio Grande (keep in mind that Rio Grande and 22nd 1⁄2 St are both one way streets). Then, remember to bring your parking ticket to class and we’ll validate it for you!
At The Domain location – free parking is available in front of the studio on Domain Drive or directly behind the studio on the ground floor of The Domain apartments. A covered walkway links the garage parking to the front of the studio space.
At the South Lamar location - free parking is available directly behind the studio in the retail section underneath the newest portion of the Post South Lamar apartments or to the side of the older Post South Lamar apartments (near Barlata).
WHAT SHOULD I BRING WITH ME?
Socks are required to be worn on the machines at all time - you can purchase them in studio or bring your own. Loaner socks are no longer available. If you do not have payment for socks in studio or have your own you will not be admitted to class and the class will not be returned to your account.
Towels and cups are no longer provided. Please bring your own to the studio with you. Energy, an open mind and a smile doesn’t hurt either!
IT'S MY FIRST TIME, WHAT SHOULD I DO?
Be sure to show up at least 15 minutes before your scheduled workout. We will have you fill out a quick form, show you the ins and outs of the studio and get you set-up for your first class. Be sure to take a look at the other FAQs too for all your other questions and feel free to check out some of the exercises likely to be featured here prior to class to get a little background on the workout.
Note, if you arrive less than 10 minutes prior to the start of class you will not be admitted to class due to enhanced safety policies and your class will not be returned to you. Please be on time to avoid this penalty.
I'VE NEVER DONE PILATES IS THAT OK?
Of course! Pure Pilates Austin is a modified form of pilates that incorporates interval cardio and strength training with traditional pilates methodologies. No experience is needed, as your trainer will describe how to perform each exercise – just bring an open mind and a lot of energy!
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR TO CLASS?
Clothing – Athletic clothing that you don’t mind getting sweaty, is comfortable to move in and provides enough coverage to make you feel comfortable while performing exercises sideways and even upside down.
Socks – We require everyone to wear socks during class. We recommend socks that have grips on the bottom to prevent slipping during certain exercises. A variety of socks with grips on the bottom can be purchased at the studio or you can bring your own.
I AM EXPECTING A LITTLE ONE, CAN I STILL WORKOUT AT PURE PILATES?
Yes! All our trainers have been trained to work with mothers-to-be. We recommended that you begin classes early in your pregnancy and you consult with your doctor before you begin any exercise program. Also, please tell your instructor if you are pregnant, so modifications can be provided prior to class.
DO YOU HAVE SHOWERS?
Unfortunately, due to our small size we do not have showers available in any of our studios.
ARE THERE STUDENT DISCOUNTS?
We do offer a 15% discount for all full-time enrolled students in an accredited secondary or university institution. Email email@example.com with a screenshot showing your name and that you are currently enrolled to have the discount applied to your account.
Note that the student discount does not apply to the new client 2 for $30, 4x or 8x per month packages and cannot be combined with other discounts.

TO SUBMIT YOUR REFERRAL:
1) Confirm that the client you referred has booked their first class
3) We'll review the information and drop your FREE CLASS into your account within 7 business days. If you choose to give your free class to a friend, please email us with your friend's name and email so we can get them set up.
*Minimum purchase of $30 by referred client required to be considered for referral status. ClassPass referrals not accepted.
