Growing up in Northern Colorado, Rachel played any sport the season offered--swimming, tennis, softball, dance. You name it. She probably did it. Not because of her athletic prowess; no, she did it to socialize! It wasn't until she trained for her first half-marathon that she discovered the only person she could really compete against was herself. And it wasn't until she broke her hip while running her first marathon that she realized the sport wasn't for her. In search of a workout that could challenge her like running had once before, without the high-impact on her joints, a friend (enter trainer Missy) introduced her to the lagree method at Pure Pilates. And the rest, they say, is history.
When she's not in the studio, you can catch her walking her lovable mutts--Kevin and Leroy--making arts and crafts, eating pizza, hosting game nights, going to concerts, or searching for discount flights to Colorado to see her family and those beautiful mountains.
